Petrified Baggage was launched in the summer of 2004 after a bored little girl started dreaming of lovely things. She envisioned polka dotted purses, stripey handbags, and ultra funky messenger bags. Putting her fingers to use, she sewed up a storm of pretty things, letting her imagination run wild. She produced cute and fashionable but tough and versatile baggage for every girly under the sun.
Petrified Baggage is operated by 21 year old Petra out of Toronto, Ontario. All of the bags found on this site are designed and hand made from scratch by me, fully lined, and made with layers of interfacing for strength and durability.
The site was designed by myself and constructed by me and my brother, Tristan. Tristan is a crazy man who lives in a shoe. His favourite things are cheese, the telephone, and his super cool laptop... He is responsible for all the fancy-shpancy programming found on this site. (eg. mr.shopping-cart & mrs.mailing-list.)
